Gregory J. Hebert - Oct. 12, 1948 - June 19, 2020
EUNICE~It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Gregory J. Hebert announces his passing on Friday, June 19, 2020 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 71.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 3 p.m. on Monday, June 22, 2020 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Eunice. Burial followed in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Father Hampton Davis, Celebrant.
Greg's greatest joys were watching his grandchildren play sports and spending time with his family. He loved to be of service to others through the church and he was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Greg will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, stepfather, brother, grandfather and friend.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Kate Hebert of Eunice. Greg was also extremely loving and proud of his three daughters, Monica H. Joubert and husband, Jacques and Veronica Hebert all of Eunice, Angie H. Myers and husband, Brandon of Dallas, TX; his three stepchildren, Phillis Fickis and husband, Charles of Omaha, Arkansas, Joseph Savoie and wife, April of Breaux Bridge and Michelle LeJeune and husband, Shane of Crowley; his brother, Randy Hebert and wife, Brynne of The Woodland, TX; his sister-in-law, Cindy Hebert of Eunice; his two precious grandchildren, Katlyn and Zachary Joubert; eleven step-grandchildren and thirteen great step grandchildren; as well as extended family and dear friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James "Web" and Lillie Mae Hebert and a brother, Dana Hebert.
At the request of the family, visitation was held at Ardoin's Funeral Home in Eunice on Sunday, June 21 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again on Monday,
June 22 from 11 a.m. until time of services. Deacon Gary Gaudin recited a Rosary at 6 p.m. on Sunday.
