Michael Dale Duncan, age 49 years, a resident of rural Vienna, passed away unexpectedly Saturday afternoon, June 27, 2020, at 3:51 PM at his home.
Michael was born July 31, 1970 in Marion, Illinois. He was the son of Thomas and Pat (Watson) Duncan.
Michael was united in marriage to Peggy Sue (nee Walker) in Johnson County Illinois. She survives.
Other survivors include: his mother – Pat Duncan of Vienna; his stepchildren; 3 step grandchildren; and 2 brothers – K. Duncan of Buncombe and J. Duncan of Vienna.
Michael was preceded in death by his father – Thomas Duncan; his paternal grandparents – Orville and Lorene Duncan and his maternal grandparents – Joe and Blanche Watson.
A graveside service honoring the life of Michael Duncan will be conducted Friday morning, July 3, 2020, at 11 AM at Independence Cemetery, 266 Clanahan Road, Golconda, IL.
There will be no public visitation. Those attending the service are asked to gather at the cemetery at 10:45 AM Friday morning.
