Funeral for Anna Peters is Wednesday
BELLECHESTER-- A Mass of Christian burial will be offered for Anna Peters at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Bellechester with the Rev. Frank Wampach officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Peters, 89, of Bellechester, and formerly of Rochester, died Saturday morning at Zumbrota Nursing Home where she had resided 1 1/2 years. Born Sept. 25, 1899 in Chester Township, Wabasha County, she lived in Oregon from 1943 to 1948, in Rochester from 1948 to 1962, and then in Bellechester until entering the nursing home. While living in Rochester she was a housekeeper for Dr. Howard Rome. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Susan Delva of Bellechester. Three sisters, a half-sister and three brothers preceded her in death. Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Larson Funeral Home in Zumbrota where there will be a prayer service at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
