Beatrice Jones Campbell, 69, of Millersburg, wife of Alvin C. Campbell, died Wednesday, October 27, 1999. A native of Bourbon County, Ky she was born Sept. 20, 1930 to Rosa Bailey Jones of Millersburg, and the late Curtis Jones. She is a retired Supervisor after 25 years from American Tree & Wreath in Lexington, Ky. She was a member of the Judyville Christian for 37 years where she taught Sunday School and played the piano. Survivors other than her husband and mother include five children, Alvin O Campbell of Millersburg, Claude C Campbell of North Middletown, Betty Ann Howerton of Charlotte, NC, Buford R Campbell of Millersburg, and Samuel Lee (Sammy) Campbell of Pairs; two brothers, Preston O Jones and James Curtis Jones, both of Lexington, 19 grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Oct. 30, 1999, at the Pruitt Funeral Home by Rev. wess Shoemaker and Bro. Wayne Tolson with burial in the Millersburg Cemetery. Pallbearers were her grandsons, Chris, Mike, Mat and Lee Campbell, Stephen and Alex Howerton. Honoary pallbearers were grandsons Thomas and Travis Campbell, Dean McCleese, Douglas Talbot, Marty Thornsberry and granddaughter Emily Campbell.
