Betty Robinson Parnell Borders, 85, of St. Petersburg, Fla., formerly of Sylva, died Saturday, Oct. 23, 2004, at her residence. Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 7, at Long Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.
She was a native of Jackson County and she moved to Florida in 1956. She was preceded in death by a brother, John Albert Robinson (Find a grave # 100014000)
Surviving are her husband of 48 years, Joseph P. Borders; one daughter, Lynda Zachary Nore of Roswell, Ga.; and two granddaughters. Melton-Riddle Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
