MY DAD
He was born Lindsey Cornelius Tackett on March 30, 1913 in Salyersville, Kentucky, the son of the late Chatman "Chat" Tackett and Penola Howard. On November 23, 1935, he was united in marriage to Frozie Montgomery. Together they raised nine children, Jimmie, Joyce, Shirley, Rosalene, Nana, Nola, Caroline, Gary,(and me) Sherry. Dad was a farmer,and he loved his farm and his family, a great man with a big heart. Neal was a much loved and respected man,and we are so proud to say, he's our Dad.
