Anton came to American on 05/28/1912 with his daughter Mary. In 1913 his wife, Helena joined them. Their 3 other children (Frances, Joseph, & Rose) were left behind with the grandparents and were supposed to join them within a year. The war began and it was 6 years later before they were reunited as a family. They came to America in 1920 aboard a ship which took about a month to get to New York City. Then they traveled to Kane, PA by train.
