Son of John Frost, Esq.,
and Grandson of Hon. John and Mary (Pepperrell) Frost of New Hampshire. Mary (Pepperrell) Frost was the daughter of Col. William Pepperrell and sister of Sir William Pepperrell. Both of Kittery. He
served in the American Revolution as Ensign, Lieutenant, Commissary of Issues, Surveyor General, Register of Deeds for County of York, County Treasurer. Revolutionary War veteran stationed at Fort George, Fort Ticonderoga, and Valley Forge, among others.
