Alexander hay born in Paterson NJ, lived in this borough for the last 85 years. He was founder of Alexander Hay Greenhouses Inc., which he owned and operated for 70 years. He was a member of the North Haledon Presbyterian Church and the New Jersey State Forest Association. During the 1930's he presided as magistrate judge of this borough and was a former master of the North Haledon Grange. A service will be held at 10am Wed., at the Vander Plaat Vermeulen Memorial Funeral Home. He leaves his wife, the former Annabell Graham, a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Eelman of North Haledon; two grandsons Robert and William Eelman.
