A lifelong resident of Ventress, he died at 8:45 p.m. Friday, May 28, 2004, at Pointe Coupee General Hospital, New Roads. He was 74 and a veteran of the Korean War. Visiting at Niland's Funeral Home, New Roads, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday. Visiting at the funeral home from 8 a.m. until religious service at 9 a.m. Monday, conducted by the Rev. Michael Schatzle. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery. He is survived by two brothers, Ernest Aguillard and Ray Aguillard; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dulice and Adele Aguillard; sisters, Adine Olinde and Leona Vallett; and brothers, Jess Aguillard and Jerry Aguillard. He was a member of American Legion Post 248.
