Daughter of Frank & Melvinia Melton Chavers. Brothers and sisters were Loma, Lizzie, Addie, Sarah, William Dave (Nannie Kennedy), Mary Ann, Joseph, Archie, Zula Vinnie ("Early" William Earl Kennedy), & Nancy Myrtle (Noah Joshua Hammac) Chavers. She was married to Noah Joshua Hammac. Their children were Millard (Irene "Dean" Phillips) James Willard (Vera Vance), Herman Franklin (1.Nevie Lundy 2. Evie Wimpee), Harvey Lee (1. Mable Sasser 2. Evelyn Brannon). Millard, James & Harvey are buried in this cemetery along with some of her gchildren. Her sister Zula Chaver Kennedy and brother&sister-in law George & Tressie Hammac are buried here in addition to many other relatives. She lived the majority of her adult life in Pine Grove community of Mobile, next door to her 1st cousin Hulda Kennedy ("Hub" William Hubbard) McNeil.
