Ansel Ferrell was born in Franklin County, NC in 1813 & moved to Nash County, NC after the Revolutionary War, then went to Thomas Co. Ga about 1826. Soleta Revels born in Georgia.
1860 United States Federal Census shows them in Woodville, Texas.
They migrated to Houston County, Texas probably 1850's.
Callie married Charlie Walling July 6, 1876 in Houston County, Texas.
There is no record of marriage due to a fire at (Houston County Courthouse) that destroyed marriage records at the court house in 1882.
They lived in Grapeland, Houston County while their children were small.
Later years they moved to their different children's homes.
Callie was wheelchair bound due to a broken hip that did not heal properly, (later in life.)
Their children were;
Louis Walker, John Randolph, Soleta (Letie) Walling Bean, and Elisha A. (Lish), Willie (died young), William Layfaty (died at five), Ira Francis (died at 40) and Evaline (Evie) Walling Hodges (twins) Evie (died at 32).
Charlie preceded Callie in death. Callie stayed with her daughter, Letie Bean and her family in Grapeland, Texas until her death in 1935.
**I am unaware where the two little boys are buried**

She was 71 yrs/ 3 mo/ 23 days, and died from Ilio Colitis.
She was my great Grandmother.
