Pauline Rowley Blevins Doloezal departed this earthly life on Wednesday, August 26, 2020, at her home in Grants.
With regrets of the temporary separation from her loved ones left behind, she looks forward to being reunited with her daughter, sister and parents who preceded her on this part of the journey.
Pauline was born on Thursday, August 4, 1932, to George Wallace Rowley and Helen Ilene Harding Rowley in Toltec, NM, in grandparents house where Charlie Harding is now living - delivered by Mary McNeill and has been a resident of the Grants - Bluewater area all her life with the exception of her school years in Phoenix, AZ and working assignments with the telephone company around the state of New Mexico.
Pauline is survived by husband, Wayne, son, Elbert Blevins and his wife, Marsha of Bluewater, step-son, John Dolezal and his wife, Karen of Ridgecrest, California, step-daughters, Ruthanne Shinn and her husband, Craig of Yukon, Oklahoma and Marta Jo Ortiz and her husband, Bob of Rio Rancho, grandsons, Johnny Wade, Stuart and Dusty Fjord, Clayton, Daryl and Chad Blevins, Kenneth Shinn and Michael Johnson, granddaughters, Christina Fjord Brown and Lyndse Fjord Bullard, Gwen Harmer and Marci Robinson, 31 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, sisters, Louise Eby and her husband, Rex of Thoreau and Dorothy Lambson of Farmington, brother, Ted Rowley and his wife, Virginia of Bluewater and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, and sister-in-law, Cecil and Vergie Rowley, a brother and sister-in-law, Wallace and Dot Rowley, sister and brother-in-law, Ilene and Ray Gibson and daughter, Evelyn Louise Fjord.
Pauline was a lifetime member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and has been active in many of the auxiliaries, Primary, Relief Society, MIA and was presently. serving as the Ward Music Coordinator. When we were in the Albuquerque Stake, she was Stake Music Director in MIA and wrote and produced a Stake Musical Road Show which many members from the present Mt. Taylor Ward had a part in. Upon retiring from the telephone company, she was called to teach Early Morning Seminary which she did for five years. Pauline was a member of P.E.O., Chapter U, of Grants and served on the State Board. After 6 years on the State Board she served as State President in 1998. Pauline was active in the local section of WAAIME (Women's Auxiliary to the American Institute of Mining Engineers). Pauline was selected to serve on the National Board in 1992, served as their President for three years with their office in New York City with a full time secretary there, 1995 through 1998, and continued to serve on its Board of Directors until 2004.
