Amadita (Amada) Trujillo was born April 18, 1919 in Val Verde, New Mexico and was the second child born to Juan and Rosita Trujillo. Known as "Dita" to everyone, she was one of fifteen children born into this family. Two of her siblings died in infancy.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Ramon, Paul, Johnny, Phillip, sister Ina, two grandchildren Jacob and Jordon and son-in-law Rex.
