Mrs. Bretz was born Sept. 21, 1906, in Ste. Marie, daughter of Charles and Bertha Kocher. She married Charles T. Bretz in October 1929. He preceded her in death on Oct. 31, 1978.
She was a member of St. James Catholic Church and St. Elizabeth's Society of St. James.
Surviving are one son, three sisters and brother,
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and two sisters.
Mass was 11 a.m. Saturday in St. James Catholic Church with visitation one hour before mass. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
