Adeline Acke, 93, widow of Earl Acke, died Sunday, 24 Feb 2013 at Bourbon Heights Nursing Home, Paris, KY. She was born 15 Feb 1920 in Nicholas Co., KY, a daughter of the late Thomas and Ida Cumber Toadvine. She was a graduate of Bourbon Co. Schools and was a member of Centerville Methodist Church. Adeline is survived by a son; a daughter; 2 grandsons, 2 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-granddaughters, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, William Earl Acke; a brother, James Toadvine; and a sister, Ruth Fryman.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, 27 Feb 2013 at Hinton-Turner Funeral Home, Paris, KY by Rev. Paul A. Fryman, with burial in Paris Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00 AM Wednesday at the funeral home. Casket bearers will be Matt Bedford, Michael Christopher, Arthur Webb, Ronnie Toadvine, Jimmy Toadvine and Ronnie Payne. Honorary bearers will be Steve Pellen, Ashley Kincade, Michelle Teegarden and Dr. Murray West.
Memorials are suggested to Bourbon Heights Activity Fund or Hospice of the Bluegrass.
