Nora May Tate, age 83, of Bloomington passed away Friday afternoon (09/11/2020) at I.U. Health; Bloomington Hospital. Born May 3, 1937 in Washington, Indiana, she was the daughter of John Thomas and Phoebe (Thombleson) Ferguson.

Nora worked at R.C.A. for 42 years.

Nora is survived by her son, Randall Tate, of Bloomington, step-daughter, Kathy Koontz, of Bloomington, step-son and wife, Gregory and Jackie Tate, of Bloomington, four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Hershal Tate, on January 3, 1993; four brothers James Ferguson, Samuel Ferguson, Thomas Ferguson and Robert Ferguson and three sisters, Lucy Gough, Marcella Chandley and Helen Sheetz.

Private family graveside services will be held at Valhalla Memory Gardens. There will be no visitation prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be given to Centerstone Mental Health Services; 645 S. Rogers St; Bloomington, IN 47403
