Mrs. Ina T. Martin

Mrs. Ina T. Martin, 73, formerly of 3831 South Park Ave., died Friday, Nov. 4, at a Topeka convalescent center.
Mrs. Martin was a registered licensed practical nurse and worked at several Topeka area hospitals. She later worked at Topeka Supply Depot, then Kansas Motor Vehicle Department. She owned and operated the Osage Chief Motel in Osage City several years before she retired about 1973.

She was born March 21, 1910, near Brookville, the daughter of Robert B. and Rebecca Owens Ball. She was reared at Silver Lake and later moved to Topeka.
She was married to James Martin Feb. 21, 1956, at Topeka. He died March 19, 1974.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Bonnie Hummer, Tecumseh; a son, Drew Buress Jr., Topeka; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday at Penwell-gabel Funeral Home. Burial will be in Topeka Cemetery. Family and friends will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 3003 Van Buren, Topeka, 66611.
