Etna Hollis was born August 13, 1872, near Delphos, Kansas, and departed this life January 6, 1936 at the age of 63 years, 4 months and 24 days.

On January 24, 1894, she was united in marriage to Ira C. Brown. To this union five children were born: Mrs. Cail Collister, of Minneapolis, Kansas; Helen, Eugene and Clifford of the home, and Rolla, who passed away in infancy.

The family lived on a farm southwest of Delphos until in 1916 when Mr. Brown's health failed, and they moved to Delphos.

After her husband's death in 1917, she, with her family, continued living in Delphos.

She was a member of the Presbyterian Church, also a member of the Benevolent Rebekah Lodge.

She leaves to mourn her loss, two sons, two daughters, two grandsons, two sisters, one brother, and a host of other relatives and friends.

A wonderful Mother God to us did lend,
A wonderful Mother, a true loyal friend,
To all she was loving, tender and kind,
What a beautiful memory she leaves behind.

Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian Church this Tuesday afternoon, with Dr. J.C. Everett of the Minneapolis church in charge. The Delphos Rebekah lodge had charge of the graveside services at the Delphos Cemetery.
