Juanita M. Derochie, 88, of Pulaski, died Friday at Oswego Hospital. She was born July 17, 1919, in Malone and graduated from Franklin Academy in Malone in 1938. She resided in Pulaski for the past five years, previously living in Burke, NY, for most of her life. She married J. Floyd Derochie on June 19, 1949; he died May 12, 1965. She was a member of Burke United Methodist Church, Burke Fire Dept. Auxiliary, a life member of Burke Ladies 1303 Elks Club and Pulaski Puritan Chapter #159 OES. Surviving: three daughters, Lora Perry of Syracuse, Kristine Fikes of Pulaski and Shirley Ryan of Chateaugay; one son, Jack Derochie of Florissant, MO; three sisters, Winona Hartman of Syracuse, Evelyn Brown of Malone and Fae Witherell of Florida; one brother, Marvin Dumas of Baldwinsville; and several grandchildren, great- and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16, at Park United Methodist Church, Pulaski, with burial in Morningside Cemetery, Malone. No calling hours.
