Inez P. Longk, the daughter of James R. and Heddie (Severns) Long, was born in Taylor County, Iowa on April 4, 1872 and passed away suddenly at the Bisgard Hospital in Harlan, Iowa on Monday, March 10, 1952 at the age of 79 years, 11 months and 6 days.
She is survived by two daughters, Elsie of Winterset, Iowa and Beulah of WInnepeg, Canada and one son, Harlan, of Corning, New York. Also two sisters; Mrs N E Vincent of Harlan and Mrs. Lola Gruver of Council Bluffs, and one brother, Leo of Harlan, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, one daughter, two sisters and two brothers.
She spent most of her life in Canada, but she spent several years in New York state and for the past twelve years has resided in Harlan, Iowa. She was a member of the Harlan Methodist Church.
Funeral services were held at the Schack Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon, March 11 with Rev. Lawrence Beals officiating. Music by Janet Ann Schack. Interment was at the Rose Hill Cemetery at Kirkman, Iowa.
