HARRODSBURG - Services for Mary Turner Riley, 87, of Salvisa will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by Lewis Walter and Doug Eades. Burial will be in Kirkwood Cemetery. She died Friday at her home. Born Aug. 14, 1914, in Washington County, she was a daughter of Hansford and Iva Turner Newby. She was the widow of Hansford Riley. She was a homemaker and a member of Kirkwood Baptist Church and taught Ransdell's Reaper Sunday School class for several years.

Survivors include three daughters, Wanda Binats of San Diego, Calif., Bonnie Derrick of Goodlettsville, Tenn., and Marcella Prather of Salvisa; a brother, J.H. Newby of Harrodsburg; a sister, Blanche Alsip of Harrodsburg; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. today and after 7:30 a.m. Tuesday. Memorials may go to Gideons International, P.O. Box 176, Harrodsburg 40330; Heritage Hospice, P.O. Box 1213 Danville 40422 or Kirkwood Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 2166 Kirkwood Road, Salvisa 40372.
