Melvin Robbins, son of Josiah Robbins (1843~1919) & Unknown Mother (?~1888), married Miss Huldah Williams 26 Feb 1904 in Alderson, Pittsburg County, Oklahoma (Indian Territory). Their only known child, Marguerite E Robbins, was born c.1905 in Pittsburg County, Oklahoma, I.T.

Melvin Robbins died Tuesday afternoon of lead consumption in the south west part of the city. He was 35 years old and leaves a widow and an 8 year old daughter. He formerly worked at Webb City, Mo. but went to Phoenix, Az. a few months ago for his health. Finding it did him no good he came here. The funeral will be held Thursday after-noon at 2:30 from the Humphrey Chapel. Rev. W. W. Chancellor of the First Baptist church officiating.
