Juanita E. Oswald, age 86, of 14006 Crossroad Drive, Mishicot, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, October 2, 2013. Juanita was born May 7, 1927 in Milwaukee, to the late Joseph and Elsie Koch Biely, and lived in Manitowoc for most of her life.

She was a graduate of the Lincoln High School in Manitowoc. Juanita married Robert E Oswald on April23, 1949, at Holy Innocents Catholic Church in Manitowoc. She was a member of St. Isidore the Farmer Catholic Church, in Tisch Mills where she served on the Rosary Society for many years. She was also a volunteer for St. Vincent DePaul in Manitowoc and helped on the family farm in the town of Mishicot. Juanita enjoyed watching and feeding the birds.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; one daughter and son-in-law, Cyndi and Dennis Timm, of Merrill, WI; three sons, David Oswald, of Osceola, WI; Douglas Oswald, of Manitowoc; Dan and Gina Oswald, of Rockville MD; six grandchildren, Rob and his wife, Kate, Randy and his wife, Ashley, Lib, Cassie, Ulric, and Yrsa, two great-grandchildren, Aphrael, and Lyla. She is further survived by two sisters, Joan Mertz, of McNaugton, WI; Sandra (John) Hyrczyk, of Burlington, WI; and by three sisters-in-law, Lois Biely, of Crivitz; Virginia (Elmer) Remiker, of Reedsville; Anna Mae (Jim) Marlborough, of Manitowoc. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one son, Richard Oswald; one brother, Henry Biely; one son-in-law, Larry Bol; and by three brothers-in-law, Harold Oswald, David Bremmer, and Elburne Mertz.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, October 5, 2013, at St. Isidore the Farmer Catholic Church in Tisch Mills, with the Reverend Dennis Drury officiating, and assisted by Deacon Robert Pribek. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Relatives and friends may call after 9:30a.m.on Saturday at the church,until the time of service at 11:00a.m. There will be no visitation this evening. PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE WILL BE A FUNERAL LUNCHEON HELD AFTER THE FUNERAL SERVICES, AT THE HOLY CROSS CHURCH PARISH HALL IN MISHICOT. The Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home, of Mishicot, is assisting the Oswald family with funeral arrangements.
