Frank T. Wallace of Bellefonte, died Friday, December 25, 2015 at Juniper Village in State College. Born October 3, 1941, in Howard, he was the son of the late Frank T. and C. Josephine Schenck Wallace. He was married to the former Florence Eames, who preceded him in death on May 12, 2014. Frank was a rural mail carrier. Frank served his country in the U.S. Navy. He is a graduate of Bald Eagle High School. Frank was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous in Central Pennsylvania and in New York State. Frank would like to thank the New York State Troopers Association for adopting him into their organization after the untimely death of his daughter, Amanda, while she was on active duty. He is a member of the Sterling Christian Church in Sterling, New York. Frank is survived by his two sons, Vernon S. (Ann) Wallace of Karthaus and Craig A. (Linda) Wallace of Howard; one sister, Connie (Frank) Bamer, of Shingletown; four grandchildren, Kyle Wallace, Rachel Wallace, Zachery Wallace and Ethan Anna. Frank is also survived by his sister-in-law, Nancy Wallace of Burke, VA; his brother-in-law, Ronald Neidigh of Bellefonte and his former son-in-law, Jonathan Anna. Along with his parents and wife, Frank was preceded in death by his daughter, Amanda Anna, who died while on active duty as a New York State Trooper. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Christie Wallace and his sister, Nancy Dawn Neidigh. Services will be held at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, 201 Spring Street, Milesburg on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at 12:00 noon with Pastor Nathan Purdy officiating. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday, December 31, 2015 from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 noon, the time of the service. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the donors choice. Arrangements are under the direction of the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, Milesburg, Pa.
