He was born in Oshkosh Dec. 30, 1889, the son of Herman and Martha Hafeman. He was married to Leone Manthei Oct. 23, 1912, in Oshkosh.
Mr. Hafeman had been employed by Rockwell International and was a member of the 25-Year Club. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and served in the Army in World War I.
Surviving are his widow; one son, Wayne, Rock Island, Ill.; one daughter, Mrs. Russell (Josephine) Welch, Oshkosh; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. in Konrad Funeral Home, the Rev. Thomas Antonson officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
