Dorothy married Harold R. Booth of Pomona in 1957 and raised their two sons, David and James in the home they built. Dorothy loved the Lord. She was a member of United Methodist Church of Somers Point where she also worked as the secretary and treasurer and taught Sunday school. Dorothy was the president of the Somers Point School District PTA and worked as a secretary to the nurse until she retired 1997.
Dorothy was blessed to have lived with her granddaughter and her husband and three of her five great grandchildren the last four years of her life.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Booth of 48 years; her two sisters, Elsie Schneider (Edwin) and Bertha Bartlett (John); and her two brothers, Robert Adams (Mary) and Lawrence Fleetwood.
Dorothy is survived by her two sons, David Booth (Claudia) and James Booth; her four grandchildren, Stephen Booth (Hayley), Amy Dennis (Hasaan), Cathrine Booth, and Israel Booth; her five great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Friday, October 9, 2020 3:00 pm at Germania Cemetery, W Moss Mill Rd & S Vienna Ave, Germania.
