Agnes POLASEK, age 88, formerly of 2295 E. Easton Rd., Owosso, died Sunday morning at Clinton Memorial Hospital. Mrs. POLASEK was a housewife. Funeral services were held at Jennings-Lyons Chapel on Wednesday with Rev. Gerald L. NEALE officiating; burial in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Mrs. POLASEK was born Nov. 2, 1895 in Czechoslovakia, the daughter of Thomas and Marie (HANACEK) MALIK. She came to America in 1913 with her parents. She resided in New Haven Twp. since 1914. On Sept. 12, 1914 she and Frank POLASEK were married in St. Mary's Church in Mecca, Indiana. She was a member of ZCBJ Lodge #242 and CSA Lodge #411. Survivors include her husband, a son, 3 daughters, 15 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, a brother, Thomas MALIK of Coos Bay, Oregon; 2 sisters, Annette CASTRO, CA and Mrs. Michael (Lillian) DRAUS of Port Charlotte, FL. Mrs. POLASEK was predeceased by 1 sister and 7 brothers.
