Obituary
Mrs. Leanna Pratter Hall Oram of 3 South Bentz street died early this morning at her residence after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Calvin Oram [sic, John Calvin Oram] and the daughter of the late Joseph and Nellie Turner Pratter of Montgomery County. She was age 76 years. Surviving, besides her husband, are two daughters, Mrs. Daisy V. Parker of this city and Mrs. Dorothy Pickens of Dayton, Ohio; three sons Charles Hall [sic, Charles Washington] of Baltimore, James T. Hall and Neil [sic, Neal] Hall, both of his city; two brothers, Lester Brown of New Market and Darby Brown of Hopehill; 17 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews. The body is at Hicks Funeral Home, 263 West Patrick street, where friends may call after 6 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be made in Fairview cemetery. C. E. Hicks 3rd, funeral director.
