Nancy M. Bruce, 75, was ushered to heaven by the Lord's angels, on Friday, April 13, 2012, from ManorCare Dallastown. Born on January 23, 1937, in York, she was the daughter of the late Henry Adkins and Alma (Ness) Adkins Kauffman. She was fondly know as "MaMaw" by her grandchildren. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed being a homemaker. She will be deeply missed by those whose lives she touched. She attended Chanceford Alliance Church. Nancy leaves to cherish her memory, five children, David Bruce (companion Janet) of York, Donna Bruce of Wrightsville, Barbara Haines (husband Stephen) of Lewisberry, Janine Almoney (companion Pete) of Manchester, Lisa M. Ehrhart (husband Kirk) of Red Lion; five grandchildren, Heather, Michael, Zachary, Chad, Kelly; five greatgrandchildren, Dakota, Montana, Brianna, Daija, Skye. She was preceded in death by her parents, a stepfather, Ralph Kauffman; and a greatgrandson, Dylon Bruce. A time of visitation will be held on Friday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Gladfelter Funeral Home, Inc., 822 E. Market St.,York. The Celebration of Life Service will begin at 8 p.m. with Pastor Ed Wibley officiating. Memorial contributions may be sent to Heartland Hospice, 3417-C Concord Rd., York, Pa., 17403.
