Levi Bush, aged 80, one of the best-known business men of Freeport, PA., died suddenly in his home yesterday morning.
He was a former school teacher in Freeport, leaving his school in 1860 to enter the grocery business, in which he remained until the time of his death. He had on several occasions been selected as school director and had held borough offices also.
He leaves his widow, Mrs. Hannah Bush, and three daughters, Miss Mary B. Bush, at home; Miss Martha Bush of Pittsburgh and Mrs. Howard Fleming of Springfield, Mo. Mr. Bush was a life-long member of the Presbyterian Church and a member of the Royal Arcanum.
