Elijah was preceded in death by his mother Catherine Anderson- Estes; brother Freddie Estes and father Robert Anderson Sr.; spouse – Beatrice Anderson; Robert Anderson Jr. (brother); Margaret Anderson- Keeley(sister); Ida Mae Anderson- Hobbs (sister); Eddie Estes(brother); Jessie Mae- Anderson- Winters (sister); Howard Anderson (brother); Mary Catherine Anderson(sister); and Billy Anderson (brother).
He is survived by Ruby Lee Anderson- Wilbert (sister) Little Rock, Arkansas; Frances Nell Anderson (niece) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; Delores Anderson (sister); Bobbie Anderson (sister); Raymond Anderson (brother) Blytheville; James Anderson and Earnest Anderson (brothers). And a host of nephews, nieces’ other relatives and friends.
Elijah worked as a handyman doing yard work, odd jobs, carpentry and cleaning for several Physicians in and around Jonesboro, Arkansas before entering the Rose Care Nursing Home in Jonesboro, Arkansas in 1979. He later transferred to Heritage Square Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility in Blytheville, Arkansas until his passing.
