Agnes “Pat” Crimmins, 86, of McAlester, died Sunday, Oct. 25, at McAlester Regional Health Center. The family will welcome friends at Brumley-Mills Funeral Home on Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Graveside funeral services will be Saturday, Oct. 31, at 2:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Memorial Park.

Pat Crimmins was born on Sept. 14, 1934 in Ennis County Claire, Ireland. She grew up in Ireland and, as a young woman, met an American soldier, James Crimmins, and they were married on June 13, 1957 in Kingslynne, England. They returned to the United States and have lived in McAlester since 1959. Pat worked as a receiving clerk for Howard’s Department Store in McAlester for over 17 years. She loved going to garage sales and was an avid gardener; she particularly loved her roses.

Pat is survived by her husband, James Crimmins; her children, Susa Johnson, John Crimmins and Brigitte Johnson; grandchildren, Anthony Turney and wife Ramona, Brandon Turney and wife Devon, Jasey Johnson, Corina Tennison and husband Jeb, and Amy Morgan; great grandchildren, Zac Patton and wife, Cheyenne, Bryar Turney, Braydon Tennison, Libby Tennison, and Asher Tennison; great great grandchildren, Remington, Barrett and Colt Patton and Henry Parent; 2 sisters, Kitty Sullivan and Lucy Cain. She was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Cody Turney.
