She was born on May 25, 1939 in Galesburg to Karl A. and Mildred M. Tuthill Sandburg. She married John W. Miller on June 29, 1958 in Carthage, IL. He survives. Also surviving is her mother, Mildred M. Young of Galesburg; a son John A. "Tony" (and Susan) Miller of Galesburg; a daughter, Susan R. (and T.J.) McNaught of Galesburg; and two sisters, Katherine (and Robert) Blackburn of Galesburg and Karen Moon of Franklin, VA.
She was preceded in death by her father.
She worked in the former Belscot and Hornsby retail stores for many years. She bowled in various leagues and was a member of the Women of the Moose. She loved animals, sewing, beadwork and flowers. She was a 1957 graduate of Galesburg High School. She lived in Galesburg her entire life.
Burial will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Galesburg.
