Hollie Elizabeth Chiniche Lilly, Born in New Orleans, LA on November 24, 1962, she was a resident of Visalia, CA and native of Denham Springs, LA. She died along with her grandson, Braiden James Manning, 3. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who stayed very active in the PTA at her childrens schools. She was employed as a Behavior Interventionist Aide for the Visalia Unified School District. She worked her special friend magic to change childrens lives. She healed many sad little hearts. She turned scary into safe and made smiles with stickers and her fairy dust. Monsignor Raymond Dreiling will celebrate Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church at 5049 W. Caldwell, Visalia, CA. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Dale Lilly; a son, Steven Lilly; two daughters, Kristina and Dianna Lilly; a sister and brother-in-law, Gwen and Matt Cotton; a brother, Mitch Chiniche; mother-in-law and father-in-law, J. W. and Sammye Raye Lilly; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jim and Amy Lilly, Marsha and Bob Penley, and Janet and Randy OBannon and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, A. J. and Pat Chiniche. In lieu of flowers a memorial scholarship has been set up to honor Hollie and Braiden. To donate, make checks payable to: 21st District PTA, 5000 West Cypress, Visalia, CA 93277. Please write Lilly/Manning Scholarship on the memo line.
