Son of Adam Fizer, Sr. (ca. 1786-1842).
He married Melinda Butts/Butt in 1816 in Botetourt County, Virginia.
He served in the War of 1812, when he lived near Fincastle in Botetourt County, Virginia.
He received 80 acres of land from the federal government in Saline County, Missouri for his service in the War of 1812. He obtained other land patents in the 1850's in Township 51N, Range 19W in Saline County, Missouri.
His date of death is not known but his will was submitted in Saline County in 1861 and apparently resubmitted in 1866 with his son Jacob as beneficiary.
