WINCHESTER - Ethel Ketron, 96, passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at the Randolph Nursing Home in Winchester.

She was born November 7, 1910 in Winchester, the daughter of Fred and Minnie (McGarvey) Goodhew.

Living in Winchester most of her life, Ethel retired after 40 years with Anchor Hocking. After retiring she lived in Jay County for many years before moving back to Winchester in 2002.

She was a member of the Praise Chapel in New Pittsburgh, Pike Township Home Economics Club, Boundary Church Guild, and the YMCA Wise Owls in Winchester.

She is survived by her daughter, Vivian Pinneo, Penn Yan, NY; stepdaughter Beverly James, Tucson, AZ; brother-in-law, Ivan Barker, California; special friend, Naomi Rowles; grandchildren, Sharon Delamore, Escondido, CA, Steve Barker (wife, Kathy Hendrickson), Winchester, Gary Pinneo, Michael Pinneo, Penn Yan, NY, and John Barker (wife, Shiela), Celina, OH; great-grandchildren, Leslie Delamore, Jenny Cirvus, Gina Delamore, Ryan Barker (wife, Katie), Kevin Barker (wife, Shannon), Eric Barker (wife, Melanie), Bridget Barker (friend, Garrett Selver), Brandon Barker (friend, Lindsey Hayes), Bryron Barker, Mackenzie Barker, and Nathan Barker; great-great-grandchildren, Brennan Delamore, Amanda Cirvus, Alexa Barker, Ross Mong, Mason Barker, Brenna Barker, Draven Selver, Kylie Barker, and Ryleigh Barker; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Kenneth Barker Sr.; second husband, John Ketron; eight brothers, Ralph, Richard, Bob, Earl, Russell, Ray, Clifford, Fred; two sisters, Mildred (Midge) Passmore and Loretta Wilson; son, Kenneth Barker Jr.; and great grandson, Jason Barker.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 1, 2007 at Walker Funeral Home, Winchester, with Pastor Max Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at Fountain Park Cemetery, Winchester.

Friends may call Sunday, September 30 at the Walker Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. or one hour prior to service time on Monday.
