A Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 P.M. Saturday, November 28, 2020 at the South Sioux City American Legion, 109 E. 19th Street, South Sioux City, Nebraska. Chad was born December 9, 1971 in Sioux City, the son of John and Vickie (Hansen) Cimino. He worked as an iron worker for the Local 21 for 25 years until his illness forced him to stop. Chad had a heart transplant in 2018 and continued to live his life to the fullest until his last days.
Chad loved to fish, boat, camp, and work on cars even through his illness. He enjoyed cutting trees and always helped his parents put up Christmas lights no matter what the weather was like. Chad played a father role in many people’s lives and was a friend to many.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather: Vickie and Wayne Krueger of South Sioux City; children: Dylan Cimino, Nevaeh Cimino; brother: Steve (Shawna) Cimino and their daughter Sofie Cimino; sister: Susie (Cody) Cimino; and stepbrothers: Justin Krueger, Anthony (Jenny) Krueger, and Christopher (Kasey) Krueger.
He was preceded in death by his father John Cimino, grandparents: Gramps and Sofie Cimino and Johnny and Jens Hansen.
