Larry Leroy Lister, 68, of 2396 Abner Creek Road, Duncan, died Nov. 10, 2005, in Punta Gorda, Florida.
A native of Spartanburg County, he was a son of the late Roy L. and Agnes Van Patton Lister. He was the owner of Larry Lister Auto Sales, corporate pilot for various businesses in the area, and former district manager for Public Savings Insurance. He was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Linda Gaile Hendrix Lister of the home; two daughters and sons-in-law, Debby and Arnold Todd of Greenville and Dale and Rick Black of Greer; five grandchildren, Amanda and Chris Bruce, Jennifer Chesney, Kala and Shane Kennemore, Rose Howell, and Ricky Black; two great-grandchildren, Kristen Whitesides and Kiley Chesney; and a brother-in-law, Paul Brannon of Greer.
Mr. Lister was predeceased by a sister, Betty Lister Brannon.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Abner Creek Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Frank Keels and Rev. Vernon Thornhill.
Pallbearers will be Frank Rodgers, Dr. Van Grubbs, Jim Benson, Tom Wood, Don Brown, Jack Allen, Jerry Lister, and Ben Padget.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. tonight at The Wood Mortuary.
