On Saturday, November 21st, 2020, Raymond Linzy Wheeler, age 84, of Dover, surrounded by his family, was carried home to Paradise by The Lord’s angels. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and member of The Church. He was born June 4th, 1936 to John and Mary Wheeler in Dillon. He will forever be remembered by the love of his life and best friend of 61 years, Viola Wheeler.

Raymond was a lay minister with over 50 years of ministry bringing the lost to Christ. Raymond was a member and served as deacon for the Oakland Heights Assembly of God. He enjoyed mowing yards, riding four-wheelers and his trike motorcycle, and especially spending time with family. He was preceded in death by his parents, seven brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include his loving wife, Viola Wheeler; three daughters, Nita Isenbart and husband Terry, Tammy Dalton and husband Jeff, and Tanessa Wheeler and fiancé Mark Hampton; grandchildren, Andrea Smith and husband Austin, Lindsey Mason, Bradley Dalton, Brandon Dalton, Zachary Svolos, Megan Svolos, and Emalee Svolos; great-grandchildren, Isaac Smith, Logan Smith, Braydon Mason, Kaydon Dalton, Emery Dalton and William Dalton; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extend family, and friends; and his fur-baby, Molly.

Graveside Service will be held on Monday, November 23, 2020 at Coleman Cemetery by Humphrey Funeral Service. Pastor Roy Chisum, Pastor Jeff Smith, and Andrea Smith will officiate. Pallbearers are Terry Isenbart, Austin Smith, Brandon Dalton, Bradley Dalton, Mark Hampton, and Zachary Svolos. Honorary pallbearers are Ardell Tennison, Jeff Dalton, Gary Reddell, and Terry Svolos.
