She came to the United States as a young girl. She married William Lange July 12, 1893 in Sleepy Eye. Following their marriage they farmed in Home township until 1923 when they moved to Sleepy Eye. She was the last member of her family. She was a life long member of St. Joh's Ev. Lutheran Church
