Kenneth Allison

Kenneth Allison, 68, of New Manchester died Sunday morning in Weirton General Hospital following an extended illness. Mr. Allison who was retired from the Weirton Steel Division of the National Steel Corp., was born Jan. 24, 1907, in Chester, a son of Ellsworth Allison and Katherine Yant Allison. He was a member of the 25 Year Club of Weirton Steel and Masonic Lodge 22 of New Cumberland. His wife, Ruth Moore Allison, died Jan. 12, 1970. Survivors include three sons, Thayre Allison of Chester, Kenneth J. Allison of New Manchester and Norman E. Allison of New Cumberland; a brother, D. H. Allison of Beaver Falls, and eight grandchildren. Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Turley Funeral Home in New Cumberland, with the Rev. Charles E. Andrews of the Trinity United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, New Manchester, Graveside services will be conducted by the Masonic lodge. Friends may call at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9 and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
