Herman Allman, age 77, died from complications due to pneumonia on Thanksgiving Day 2020. Herman was born in the small town of Wheaton, Missouri, where he worked and eventually managed the family feed mill, Allman Produce and Feed, until it closed in 1973. Herman then worked for mental health providers as a mental health counselor in Missouri and then in the oil patch in South Dakota for several years until he moved to Shawnee, Oklahoma, where he worked at Shawnee Milling for many years until he retired.

Herman is survived by his son, Christopher Allman, his wife Christina, and their children George, Kathleen, and Jackson, residents of Shawnee, Kansas. Herman is also survived by his two beloved sisters, Becky Roskob (Joplin, Missouri) and Mindy Spencer (Joplin, Missouri). Mindy is married to Charles Spencer and they have two sons, Bruce and Evan. Herman was preceded in death by his father, Stratton Allman, and his mother, Kathleen (McNabb) Allman.
Herman will be buried next to his father, Stratton, in Rocky Comfort, Missouri, but no date is set for the interment of his cremated remains
