Dolly went to be with the Lord at 12:30 A.M. EST Tuesday, November 24, 2020. Due to the pandemic, private funeral services will be conducted. Public graveside services will be Monday, November 30, 2020, at 1:30 P.M. at the Oaklawn Cemetery in Saint Francisville, Illinois.

Dolly was born in St. Francisville on Tuesday, September 27, 1927 during the day. She was delivered at home by her mother and her 13 year-old sister, Chrien. She is the daughter of William L. and L. Matilda Pinnick Emmons.

Dolly enjoyed many things in life, including raising flowers and sharing "starts" with others, feeding wild birds, quilting and crafting, visiting with family and friends, traveling with family, dancing at weddings and catching the bouquets. She attended Saint Francisville Free Methodist Church.

After her children were raised she worked at Suttles Apparatus, Meisner's and then at Lawrenceville Wal-Mart. She returned to school in her 50's and earned more than 120 credit hours at WVC; this included academic classes as well as belly dancing classes. Above all, her main occupation and love was raising her children and taking care of her family.

Immediate survivors include: her children- Roy (Karen) Kendall of Azle, TX, David (Jeanne) Kendall of Mt. Carmel, IL, Sharon "Sherry" (Gary) Kasinger of St. Francisville, IL, James P. (Kay) Kendall of St. Francisville, IL: grandchildren include: Bennie F. Mason Jr., Timothy Clyde Mason, Matilda J. (Thad) Steffey; Jennifer (Tim) Fleming, Angela (Jason) Streib, Roy Justin (Jen) Kendall; Cathy (Leon) Schroering, John (Lana) Kendall, Matthew Kendall; Jesse (Lori) Kasinger, Leslie (Mike) Weber, Kevin Kasinger, Shannon Kasinger Clark, Erica (Luke) Bickers, Patrick (Lauren) Kasinger, Austin Kasinger; April Donaldson, Katie (Randy) Scott: great-grandchildren- Nicholas (Tabitha) Hancock, Jordan (Tiffany), Samantha Mason, Aaron and Jacob Mason, Cole (McKenna) and Cody Steffey; Samantha Streib, Izabel Kendall; Courtney (Nathan) Hopf, Olivia Schroering, Ashley (Kyle) Magee, Allyson Kendall, Abigail (Cody) Summers, Mary Kendall, Jessika Kendall; S. Other surviving family includes: two sisters-in-law- Beulah Morris and Vivian Emmons, both of Lawrenceville: close family friend- Dana Magee of Mt. Carmel, IL: and many, many nephews, nieces, friends and neighbors.

She was preceded in death by: her parents- William and Matilda Emmons: husband- Clyde Kendall: daughter- Matilda Mason: son-in-law- Bennie F. Mason Sr.: her siblings- Arnold (Hazel) Emmons, Chrien Emmons, Frank (Kate) Emmons, Carliss Emmons, Mary (Reuel) Schroyer, Kenneth Emmons: and many dear nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held in Oaklawn Cemetery of St. Francisville at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, November 30th. Services will be conducted by Pastor Jeff Marble, Reverend Irwin Bales, and Pastor (and grandson) Jesse Kasinger. Cunningham Funeral Home of Bridgeport is assisting with arrangements.
