Fausto Catelani passed away peacefully on December 18th, 2020. He was 98 years old. He was preceded in death by his wife Alfonsina. Fausto will be lovingly remembered by his children... Nonno will also be fondly remembered by his four grandchildren, ... and his great-grandchildren... He also survived by his brother, ... and his sister, ...
Fausto was born in Italy and came to the US after World War II. He settled in Healdsburg and became a US citizen in 1949. A year later he returned to Italy to marry his sweetheart, Alfonsina, and brought her to Healdsburg to make their home.
He worked at Healdsburg Machine Company for 40 years. He also earned his real estate license and then his broker's license and opened Catelani Realty.
He loved to work with his hands. He could fix and build almost anything. He enjoyed making wine, olive oil and fabricating his own wine and olive oil equipment. He loved cooking and entertaining friends and family.
Due to the pandemic, a private small family service was held in his honor.
Donations may be made in his name to St John the Baptist Catholic Church or your favorite charity.
