Mrs. L. Calhoun Dies at Age of 76

Mrs. Lillian Calhoun, 76, widow of Frank M. Calhoun, died at 1 a. m. today at her home, 268 Madison avenue, after an Illness of six weeks.

A native of Otterville, Mrs. Calhoun had resided in Alton for 36 years, coming here in 1906 with her husband, who for many years operated the Calhoun fish market.

Mrs. Calhoun Is survived by two sons, Wesley of Jerseyville and Clarence of Alton. She also leaves a grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2:30 p. m. at Bauer & Hoehn funeral home by tlie Rev. Father John Foley. Father Foley will also officiate at Noble cemetery, near Otterville, where the body will he interred.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p. m. today to view the body.
