Julie Lovering-Molzahn

Green Bay - Julie Lovering-Molzahn, (59), Green Bay, was welcomed into our Father's heavenly kingdom on December 25, 2020 at home with her family by her side. Julie was born August 10, 1961 to David and Nancy (Van Erem) Badeau.

Julie was a 1979 graduate of East High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from UWGB in Earth Science in 1985. During her teen years, Julie was an active member of Senior Girl Scout Troop 99. She enjoyed backpacking and hiking, making several trips to Isle Royale and a college class trip through the Southwest.

In September, 1985 Julie married the now late Jeffrey Lovering. They lived in Tiffin, OH where Julie taught middle school. Julie took much pleasure and pride in renovating their 100-year-old Victorian style house. Upon the sudden and unexpected death of Jeff in June of 1994, Julie and her two young daughters returned to Green Bay where Julie resumed classes in the education field.

Julie married Michael J. Molzahn, also widowed and with a young son, in August 1997. Once all the children were well established in school, Julie began teaching preschool at Peace Nursery Center where she remained until she retired in 2015. Combining her love of teaching young children and her deep faith, Julie taught religious education classes at St. John the Evangelist and St. Bernard parishes for many years.

Julie and Mike loved to travel. Disney World was a frequent spring break destination and every summer included an extensive family road trip. Julie and Mike have visited all 50 states and Canadian provinces, including international travel to Iceland, Australia and New Zealand. Julie also enjoyed flower gardening, a wide variety of crafting, decorating homemade cutout cookies and bread baking. Aside from spending time with her beloved grandsons, Julie's greatest pleasure was to have family milling around her kitchen, either awaiting one of her delicious meals to be served, or fully satisfied after a sumptuous dessert and not yet ready to leave the loving warmth of her kitchen.

Julie has inspired all with her joy, grace, courage, determination and faith as she has journeyed through life's adventures and hardships. This loving and generous wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend has positively impacted all who are fortunate enough to have loved her.

Julie is survived by her loving husband, Mike, two daughters, Abigail (Andrew) Theis, Elizabeth (Zach) Dawson, one son, Eric Molzahn, three grandsons, Micah, Elijah, Matthew, mother, Nancy Badeau, three sisters, Sue Badeau (Gordon Johnson), Amy (Bill) Golembeski, Abby (Paul) Seroogy, one brother, Kurt (Nicole) Badeau, two sisters-in-law, Paula (Mark) DeGroot, Lisa Gideon, four brothers-in-law Tom (Monica) Molzahn, Jeff (Christine) Molzahn, Chris Molzahn (Jane Wendt), Pat (Maria) Molzahn, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Julie was preceded in death by her husband Jeff Lovering, infant daughter Alexandria Lovering, father David Badeau, mothers- and fathers-in-law Paul and Marion Lovering and Jean and Darrel Molzahn.

Gathering of family and friends will be held from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 413 St. John Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Brian Belongia officiating.. Entombment at Allouez Chapel Mausoleum. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, donations can be made in Julie's name to the MACC Fund to fight childhood cancer.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the women of Julie's Play and Pray group, all of the family and friends who came to visit, the staff of Aurora Bay Care Oncology Department (Dr. Brooke Esteves, D.O.) and for the care she received from Aurora Home Care (Leah and Mary) - your kindness will never be forgotten.
