It is believed that Susan died aroud 1929.
According to her first husbands death certificate, he was a widower.
Since Susan was not listed in her sibblings obits., I asked family members if they thought she was still living when the obits. for her sibblings were written, I have been told that since she abandoned her young children, that she was not thought of very well....I never got a straight answer.

Susan was married to John Baker, they had 7 children.
It is said that he was a heavy drinker a womanizer, and some say abusive to her. It is said that after a bad argunent Susan left her family with with baby L.T. in her arms with ? Nicholson(it is said he might have been a traveling salesman), it is said that her little children followed her to the gate on their knees....begging for their momma to come back to them, as the story goes she never looked back.
After she left her family some of the children were sent to live with other family members.
It has been assumed that the baby boy L.T. was not her husbands child.
I has been long believed by family that she never married the Mr. Nicholson, but that the child has his last name.
I have been told that most or all of her children visited her in the Muskegon, Michigan area when she was on her death bed.
I have not found her grave....but it was implied that her children did not get he a marker.
