On Thursday, December 24, 2020, Adolph "Dock" Bradford, loving husband and father of three children, passed away at the age of 88.

Adolph was born on August 29, 1932 in Cullman, Alabama. He graduated from Hanceville High School in 1951. Son of Jesse Hobert Bradford (1900-1981) and Tennie Smith Bradford (1902-1987).

He joined the Air Force in 1952 and served as an aircraft mechanic during the Korean War and was honorably discharged in 1956.

When on a fateful New Years Eve dance in 1956, he met the love of his life Lois Bradford and married her on March 9, 1957 and was married for 63 years.

Adolph was preceded in death by his parents and older siblings.

He is survived by his wife Lois Bradford; his three children, Donna Levins (Dean), Gary Bradford (Bennie), and Steve Bradford; his sister, Mary Burns; and a multitude of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He served as a Deacon at Crossway Baptist Church in Bessemer.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from 9:00am to 10:00am at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home in Hoover, AL. The funeral service will begin from the chapel at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
