Lee C. Stickel, 74, of 129 Wilson St., died last night in the Carlisle Hospital. Mr. Stickel was born May 6, 1897 in Carlisle Springs, a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Stickel. Before his retirement, he owned and operated Stickel's Electrical Appliance Store in Carlisle for many years. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Elks Lodge 578, Carlisle, and the ' American Legion Post 101, Carlisle. He was a member of numerous Masonic organizations, a member of Zembo Temple AAONMS., and was a veteran of World War I. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Helen Elizabeth Bucher Stickel; 2 sisters, Mrs Hazel Davis, Covina, Calif, and Mrs. Joseph Stapchinskas, Southern Pines, N.C.; and 1 brother, Richard Stickel, Bryn Mawr. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday in the G. Book Roth Funeral Home, Walnut Bottom Road at Belvedere Street. The Rev. William L Schmid, his pastor will officiate. Burial will be in Pomfret Manor Cemetery, Sunbury, at 2:30 PM Monday. Friends may call Sunday evening at the funeral home.
